Vision: "Taking today's disciples and providing knowledge for tomorrow's leaders" Mission: Our focus is to establish a Resource Center for education in National and International Biblical and Historical Studies Few resources are available outside of the large private University settings where an individuals can do research or experience the world of Biblical Hebraic influence and comprehension of the Old and New Testament scriptures. How it relates to individuals and modern day events Shama Resource Center was created to fill that void in the San Joaquin Valley region of central California Goals: Located in Bakersfield California, the Center will be designed as a place of learning with a Library, a Lecture Hall and all within a Museum type setting with artifacts and placements. The Resource Center will be an inclusive place with a Hebraic Biblical perspective Housed within the Center will be a Research Library with primary and secondary, and filtered tertiary materials. Materials will include Biblical Texts in English, Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic along with other primary Biblical source materials. The Center will also provide archaeological study materials with current and new archaeological reports and discoveries The Center will also provide a complete state-of-the art Audio & Visual Library area The Resource Center will also make available International field trips for those who wish to participate in further educational studies with Archaeological Excavation Programs and Holy Land Tours. Some participants may be eligible for sponsorship by the Center ___________ Another project that will be under taken is to create a "Yad Vashem" (Holocaust Memorial) at the Center. This shall provide to those who visit Shama Resource Center an opportunity to experience first hand something that they may never have seen before and even now, some are denying that it ever happen _______________ When will it be Established: The Resource Center shall be developed and completed as financial aid, donations, equipment and facilities become available.
